(Columbia Agar Base with 5% Sheep Blood, with the selective antibiotics; Colistin, and Nalidixic acid) Features: For the selective cultivation and isolation of Gram positive bacteria; and for the determination of characteristic hemolytic reactions. Gram negative bacteria are inhibited by the colistin and nalidixic acid. Contains 5% sheep blood from a veterinary supervised, controlled herd of donor animals. Blood is guaranteed to be from healthy antibiotic-free animals.
Polystyrene Petri plates feature raised rings for stacking ability and prevents sliding.
